Meet Stephanie

Accredited Practising Mental Health Occupational Therapist

Stephanie is an Accredited Practicing Occupational Therapist with us here at Nourished Not Deprived who completed her study in Medicine in 2017 and obtained a Master’s Degree in occupational therapy Practice in 2021 in Melbourne, Victoria.

From her dual qualifications, it is safe to say that Stephanie is a wealth of knowledge in the field of healthcare, and we are stoked to have her as a part of our team.

Stephanie has previously worked in community settings, focusing her therapy on children with special needs and their requirements for Assistive Technology supports. Her scope of practice includes but is not limited to children who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability and Global Developmental Delay.

With a passion for Paediatrics, Stephanie focuses her therapy and assessments in a gentle and approachable manner.

Stephanie focuses on improving the skills required to do basic occupations by utilising play-based therapy, positive reinforcement, sensory diets and cognitive behavioural therapy.

Concurrently, Stephanie is our go to for all things Functional Capacity Assessments! If you are due for an NDIS plan review, looking for assistance in increasing supports or looking to attain an understanding of your child’s current functional capacity, then Stephanie is the practitioner for you!
