During his time as a Mental Health Peer Worker, Warren supported participants with daily living skills, community access, travel training and transport to medical appointments. He also used Motivational Interviewing techniques to help people develop care plans and individual goals, while drawing on his experience to better understand and support their needs.
Warren is particularly passionate about helping people feel heard, respected and involved in their own support. He understands the importance of building trust and providing encouragement without judgement, allowing participants to take things at their own pace while still working towards meaningful goals.
His experience also includes leadership, mentoring and community advocacy, including chairing Consumer Advisory Group meetings and organising activities for clients. He is confident working collaboratively with families, health services and broader support teams and understands the importance of professional communication, confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Outside of work, Warren is always looking to learn and grow. Alongside studying Social Work, he enjoys reading fantasy novels, watching TV, going to the movies, listening to music and catching up with friends. He also enjoys staying active through baseball and Muay Thai.
