Hearty Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 apple, peeled and finely diced
  • 2 cups milk of choice or water (I use half milk half water)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp peanut butter to serve

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients (excluding peanut butter) in a saucepan and combine.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring as it thickens for 15 to 20 minutes or until the apples have softened.
  3. Serve warm and top with peanut butter and cinnamon!

Other great toppings include crushed almonds, hemp hearts or Greek yoghurt. Enjoy! 🙂
