Finding it hard to juggle your child’s appointments, school, and your own to-do list? You’re not alone. That’s why thousands of Australian families are turning to telehealth therapy for kids—a flexible, effective, and child-friendly way to access support without leaving home.
At Nourished Not Deprived, our team of experienced and neuro-affirming therapists deliver NDIS and private telehealth services for children across Australia. Whether you’re in regional Queensland, metro Victoria, or anywhere in between—help is just a click away.
Telehealth therapy involves attending sessions online through secure video calls. Your child connects with their therapist from home, school, or even grandma’s house—wherever they feel most comfortable. We use playful, evidence-based techniques tailored to your child’s age, needs, and goals.
Telehealth is perfect for children who:
Live in rural or remote areas
Have difficulty travelling or sitting still for long periods
Experience anxiety in unfamiliar settings
Prefer being in a safe, known environment (like their home)
Are transitioning from face-to-face to more independent support
We provide full access to our multidisciplinary team via telehealth:
Occupational Therapy – For sensory regulation, fine motor skills, routines, and executive functioning
Speech Pathology – For communication, feeding, and social skills
Dietetic Services – For fussy eating, gut health, ARFID, and building positive food relationships
Psychology & Counselling – For emotional regulation, anxiety, resilience, and confidence
Each session is tailored to your child’s age and attention span. A session might include:
Fun, interactive games
Visual prompts and digital tools
Movement breaks and sensory check-ins
Parent coaching and guidance
