As part of providing allied health and/or support work services, Nourished Not Deprived and Nourished Not Deprived Supports and your assigned practitioner or support worker will collect and record personal information relevant to your care — such as your name, contact information, medical history, and other details required to provide safe and effective services.
This information is essential for ensuring quality and continuity of care. You are not obligated to provide all personal details; however, withholding relevant information may limit our ability to deliver services safely and effectively.
During a telehealth consultation, your therapist will:
Assess your needs and therapy-related goals.
Offer recommendations, education, and guidance as appropriate.
Explain how telehealth will be tailored to your individual situation.
During a face-to-face allied health or support work session, your therapist or support worker will:
Assess your needs and goals.
Provide care, assistance, or recommendations as agreed.
Explain how your session will be conducted, including any safety considerations.
Where support work involves community access or transport, Nourished Not Deprived or your assigned support worker may assist in organising or providing transport as part of your approved plan.
You acknowledge that:
Transport is provided in accordance with Nourished Not Deprived & Nourished Not Deprived Supports safety and insurance policies.
All reasonable steps are taken to ensure safe transit, though minor risks inherent to travel may exist.
Transport may involve private vehicles, taxis, rideshare, or public transport, as appropriate and agreed in advance.
By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and accept the following:
You are responsible for arranging suitable technology for telehealth sessions (e.g., device, internet connection, and private space).
Nourished Not Deprived and Nourished Not Deprived Supports covers the cost of calls and telehealth platforms.
You are responsible for arranging transport to face-to-face allied health appointments unless otherwise agreed.
You may include a support person in any session.
Video or audio recording of sessions is not permitted without written permission.
Allied Health Practitioners (including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Dietitians, and Speech Pathologists) engaged through Nourished Not Deprived are independent contractors.
Nourished Not Deprived ensures that all contractors hold appropriate registration, insurance, and qualifications but does not assume liability for their individual clinical decisions.
Support Workers are employees of Nourished Not Deprived Supports. They act under supervision and guidance from our Managers and must follow all company policies, training, and quality standards.
Nourished Not Deprived and Nourished Not Deprived Supports exercises a duty of care to all clients and participants.
While all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure your safety and wellbeing, you acknowledge that some inherent risks exist in healthcare, telehealth, and community-based services.
You agree to promptly notify your clinician or support worker of any changes to your health, environment, or support needs that may affect your safety or care.
Allied health practitioners of Nourished Not Deprived are responsible for their clinical judgment, professional conduct, and compliance with professional standards.
Support workers are accountable to Nourished Not Deprived Supports as employees and must adhere to company policies and supervision structures.
Nourished Not Deprived & Nourished Not Deprived Supports maintains oversight through regular supervision, audits, and feedback systems.
Nourished Not Deprived and Nourished Not Deprived Supports is responsible for ensuring that services are delivered safely, ethically, and in accordance with all applicable laws.
However, Nourished Not Deprived and Nourished Not Deprived Supports is not responsible for any loss or harm that is outside its reasonable control or results from false, incomplete, or misleading information provided by a client.
Telehealth Risks:
Possible technical disruptions or poor internet connection.
Limited ability to observe non-verbal or physical cues.
Risk of privacy breaches if sessions are not conducted in a private space.
Face-to-Face & Support Work Risks:
Possible exposure to infectious diseases or environmental hazards.
Risks associated with travel or community access (e.g., slips, trips, or unforeseen events).
Emotional discomfort when discussing sensitive topics.
All reasonable care is taken to minimise these risks.
Telehealth:
Convenient access to care from home.
Reduced travel and waiting time.
Ongoing therapy continuity during disruptions.
Face-to-Face & Support Work:
Hands-on, direct support and guidance.
Increased independence and community participation.
Stronger rapport and personal connection.
Nourished Not Deprived and Nourished Not Deprived Supports complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
All personal information is securely collected, stored, and used only for service provision.
Support workers and allied health practitioners are bound by strict confidentiality standards.
Recordings will only occur with your explicit consent.

You can refuse participation or choose preferred activities.
Consent may be given verbally or in writing and will be recorded by your practitioner or support worker.
By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you consent to the use of secure AI tools to assist clinicians and support workers with administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, or analysis to improve care quality.
AI tools do not replace professional judgment and are used only as supportive systems.
All AI-related data is processed in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. No identifiable personal data is stored or transferred outside Australia without consent.
You may opt out of AI-supported services at any time by notifying us prior to or during your care.

For private (non-NDIS) clients:
A 50% non-refundable deposit applies to secure your appointment.
Cancellations within 24 hours or non-attendance will result in a full session fee.
Rescheduling within 24 hours will incur a 50% fee.
For NDIS participants, all cancellations follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits policy.

By submitting a referral or engaging with Nourished Not Deprived and/or Nourished Not Deprived Supports, you acknowledge that:
Our pricing and funding options are designed to ensure fair access across Australia.
Some individuals may be eligible for funding support depending on criteria.
Participation is voluntary and based on informed consent.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Nourished Not Deprived Supports operates as a sister company to Nourished Not Deprived. While both entities may provide complementary services, they operate as separate businesses.
Engagement with one service does not require, imply, or obligate engagement with the other. Participants, families, and referrers are free to choose to engage with either company independently, both, or neither, based on their individual needs and preferences.
Nourished Not Deprived and Nourished Not Deprived Supports will not apply any pressure, incentives, or requirements for participants to access services across both entities. All recommendations will be made in the best interest of the participant and in line with their goals, choice, and control under the NDIS framework.
